Product Description

3-Zone Thermal Shock Chamber

KTS series is designed to evaluate reliability of test specimens by rapid change of the air temperatures from hot to cold repeatedly by opening and closing of damper in a single test area. You can get accurate test results without any mechanical impact on test speciments because a test area does not move. Also suitable for testing large size, heavy specimens and/or testing many samall devices at one time.

3-zone thermal shock chamber:

Three chambers in total: test space, high temp. chamber and low temp. chamber;

Advantage: slight limitation for test sample's weight, the test sample keep still, this can reduce the impact to samples by moving it, can be used for on-load testing.

Compared with 2-zone type, relatively low failure rate, low cost.

Disadvantage: long conversion time

2-zone thermal shock chamber:

Only two chambers: high temp. Chamber and low temp. chamber

Advantage: short conversion time, smaller space needed

Disadvantage: test sample moving. test samples' size is limited by the basket size
